I feel like I have had absolutely zero time to blog...mainly because it's taken the back seat to extracurriculars, school, and social events. So, even if this post is a taaaaad late, I am determined to at least summarize what our days consisted of each month, for virtual scrapbooking sake. So, here's a whirlwind look at our May days :)
We celebrated Bella's birthday, turning the Big 0-6, by a sweet little ice cream "party," that consisted of taking two of her buddies to our local Farm Stand for some homemade ice cream, playing at our neighborhood playground, and then playing out our house. The rest of her birthday included breakfast with Daddy, painting with Momma, and things like toy-playing, bubble blowing, and cake eating. It was a great day for our birthday girl!
My hub's birthday was the next day, which coincided with Mother's Day this year. Because of that, he opted to have us celebrate the day before Bella's birthday, getting in some good golf and some good times with friends late night. And of course, his birthday treat of choice: chocolate ice cream with M&Ms.
I had a lovely Mother's Day that included some fun pool time with friends I love and some good family time throw in for good measure. It was a great day!
We finished up Raleigh's first year of aerial arts with an awesome recital and also concluded Harrison's flag football season.
My hub and my Big Three snuck away for their annual fishing weekend with Pop and had a blast, all while Bels hung back and had a Momma/Daughter weekend. :)
Lastly, there was the great chop of 2021! ;)
And THAT is how we wrapped up our May. Whew! And now, we are nearly to the end of June and loving it. Back MUCH sooner with a June summary. :)
