April 2021

We are working our way through Spring and having a ball doing it! Aside from our Spring Break trip to Puerto Rico, here's a look at what April held for my Lu Crew:

Harrison turns 7. On April 25th, my baby boy turned the big 0-7! The week prior, he got his birthday party wish: a trip to Great Wolf Lodge with a few sweet friends, and his brave dad ;), in tow. The crammed in all kinds of fun: the water park and arcade, bowling and movie watching, candy and Waffle House devouring...they had FUN! He also went to Waffle House again the day before his birthday for his traditional dad breakfast date, seeing as how my hub would be out of town the morning of the birthday.

And then, on his actual birthday, we continued the celebration! Harrison awoke to our tradition of door decorations and ran downstairs to check out his birthday loot! We enjoyed the breakfast of his choice (Dunkin Donuts) before spending the day playing with his new toys, spending time with family and friends, and having a birthdaytastic time! We ended the day with the dinner of his request: Red Bowl. He went to bed a tired, but happy, new 7-year-old. :)

Travel baseball. We won our first travel tournament gold bracket championship! Banks and his teammates work so hard off the field, so it was so amazing to see them battle through two games Saturday, followed by three back-to-back games the following day and win the championship!

Aerial arts and dance. Raleigh and Bella have continued with their weekly aerial arts and dance classes, respectively. We can't wait for their upcoming recitals and in the meantime and just love the photos taken of them in their costumes!

Flag football. We are having so much fun watching Harrison do what he loves during his twice weekly games: play flag football! My hub is one of the assistant coaches, and it's been so fun to take in the games with dear friends of ours and their kiddos, too!

A little bit of this...Aside from family time, we have soaked in fun with friends - including a trip for my hub and his friends down to Jacksonville for a special event and a trip for some girlfriends and me to Charleston to get in some good girl time.

A little bit of that...And there was lots of other randomness throughout the month: tennis, doctor appointments, school spirit week, you name it!

And now...hello, May! Let's do this!
