Prime Time

Seeing as how Amazon Prime is how I make 90% of my purchases these days, I thought it'd be fun to start a new (monthly?) post called "Prime Time," sharing my favorite recent Amazon purchases. And then, I thought it'd be fun if y'all could comment with a few of your recent Amazon favorites I/we need to check out? What do y'all think? Is it lame? Or are you game?

I'll give it a go this month, and if it's a success, will keep at it each month! And if it's a big fat fail, well, then, let's pretend this post never happened, shall we?

Okay, a look at some of my favorite recent Amazon Prime purchases:

Women's Vitamin. We are on this big, wild wellness journey to help address some issues our Bels is having and dag nabbit, I wanted in on the holistic ride! My hub Santa was so sweet to put some women's vitamins in my stocking since I was taking exactly ZERO vitamins, but then our new doc informed us that there was a better vitamin alternative, one that is plant-based and less filled with scary toxins and chemicals. So, this arrived yesterday and is now a part of my daily routine (my hub uses the men's version of it).

Tooth fairy pillow. One of my best friends gifted me with the most adorable, personalized Tooth Fairy pillow when I was pregnant with Banks. We used it as recently as this week for him! But he is the only one that has one, and Raleigh is pulling out her own teeth right and left (!!), so I ordered this cute little pillow in a pinch. She was ecstatic!

Geodes. Banks had a birthday party to attend last weekend, and one of my favorite gifts to give boys his age (especially after his Rockin' 9th birthday party), are crack-your-own-geodes kits. This is the one he gifted his buddy just a few days ago.

Fairy jars. I recently gifted two of my nieces these fairy jars for Christmas, and they loved them! I love how each kit contains enough options to make each fairy jar totally customizable and unique.

Shampoo. I recently went blonde and during the (glorious! there is just nothing like some girl time in the salon!) appointment, asked my stylist what her most favorite shampoo is. Per her recommendation, I went home and immediately ordered this! Smells divine, and I am loving it so far!

Diffuser. As part of our wellness journey (will share more about allllllll the things soon, promise!), we now have diffusers in every bedroom of our home, and this is my absolute favorite! The kids love it because they can choose the color of the light, and I love it because it works amazingly well!

Oil rollers. Also a favorite (because I am now the "crazy oil lady" as my hub calls me and have created various oil rollers for alllllll the things) are these pretty rollers. I love the bright colors, and while I also labeled mine using some cute washi tape I had on hand, I love that I can recognize most by just looking at the color of the top (thank you for the rec, Erin!).

Where the Crawdads Sing. Have y'all read this yet after all my insistence? It is so good and definitely an awesome Amazon purchase! You must read it!!

Cat toys. Because apparently we are cat people now that wildly wonderful Theo has joined the family. We ordered him this and this, and he still likes them both.

The greatest umbrella of all time. ALL the credit goes to my friend, Megan, who found this magical umbrella. She brought it as her gift at our annual "My Favorite Things" party, and I kid you not, I was so obsessed that Santa brought one for my hub for Christmas - ha! Seriously, y'all. You need this umbrella (and it comes in all different colors and patterns).

Microphone. This microphone was a hands-down HIT with my whole family! Raleigh received it for Christmas, but we all love it and use it all.the.time.

Eye brightener. One of my all-time favorite beauty products, this eye brightener makes us mommas look all bright-eyed-and-bushy-tailed, even if we feel like tail. ;) Seriously, it is a game changer (and I put a light layer of concealer on first to help it hold well).

Fur blanket. My hub gifted me with this humongous, faux fur blanket for Christmas and we have used it every.single.day. since then. We usually sleep with it on our bed (it feels like a weighted blanket, almost, and I swear we both have slept better since getting it), but we also pull it out to cover our entire family when in need for things like family movie night.

Amazon fails: Most of my Amazon purchases are successes, but I thought it only fair to share a few fails:

These frames. We bought them to create a photo wall on one of our dining room walls because I liked the specific sizes of the frames, BUT they look cheap in person. They'll be coming down and relocated to a less centralized area of our home.

This book. My new book club decided to tackle this book this month, especially after it was recommended and has rave reviews on Amazon. But y'all? It is awful. Or maybe just not to my liking. We have decided to jump ship and select a different book to read for the month. Will keep y'all posted on what we decide!

This detangler. We used it ONE time on Raleigh and her entire neck broke out in a horrible rash. You could literally see the outline of where her shirt had protected her skin from the product and thus from the rash. :/ Mom fail.

Okay, so what are your Amazon faves? What do I need to Prime today? :)
