Let's hear it for the MOMMAS! Woot! Woot!
I haven't written one of these posts in a *minute*; so, I thought it'd be fun to write another and devote this one solely to things I'm loving lately that will help a momma out. Ready? Let's do this!
Unseen Sunscreen. I have talked many a time about one of my favorite parties each year - it's the "My Favorite Things" party some girlfriends and I participate in during the Christmas season this year. But we love it so much that earlier this summer, two of our hostesses with the mostesses hosted a "My Favorite Things: Summer Edition" party, and it was a blast! I brought this sunscreen that I just have to share with y'all (that I originally learned about from my product-loving-momma-friend, Jenn, who I trust with my life when it comes to great beauty products). It's called Unseen Sunscreen by Supergoop, and you guys, it feels like straight BUTTA when you rub it on your face. I love it and loved sharing it with my girls at the "Favorite Things" party.

Sio patches. As I am inching closer to the big 4-0, my skin is slowly turning on me - ha! But I am putting up a good battle and recently started sleeping in these Sio patches, which I place under my eyes before getting my shut-eye each night. You see, I am a belly sleeper, which is TERRIBLE for under-eye wrinkling. But I can't help it. So, Sio to the rescue. The first night I slept in them, I kept waking up because it felt weird to have something on my face but ever since then, I have noticed them once! They are re-usable (up to 15 times), and I am really liking them so far. I bought them when they were on sale for 50% and am keeping an eye out for another sale to stock up on more.
2ULaundry. Y'all may have seen my mug in a 2ULaundry ad or two floating around Facebook. I am one of their brand ambassadors, which means I create ads for them and scream their praises every chance I get - ha! - but mommas, this business is a game changer. I don't use it every week, only during particularly busy weeks (think: 1st week of school; Christmas season; May Madness; you get the point!). You simply fill the laundry bag they give you for free the first time you use the service, place it on your porch at 8:00 am, and wait for your clean, folded laundry to be returned the next day. Holy time saver! They also do dry cleaning for an additional price. Want to check it out? Use this code to save yourself some cash: Luton1195 Laundry has never been so easy!
Becca Eye Fatigue. Do y'all remember that time I wrote about Sio patches as a way to fight against under-eye wrinkles? ;) (If not, jump up two paragraphs. No judgment here - I know all too well that when our delightful bundles of joy arrive our memory departs, may it rest in peace). Well, here is one of my MOST FAVORITE BEAUTY PRODUCTS EVER that I used to combat those pesky lines: Becca Anti-Fatigue Under-Eye Primer. This stuff is magical. I started using it at the advice of a well-known make-up artist here in the Charlotte area, and the girl did not steer us wrong (Lindsey Regan Thorne, local friends. She's awesome!).
Charlotte Tilbury. Speaking of make-up, earlier this year, I decided to start investing in myself. Like most mommas, I throw nearly all of my time and energy into my family and kiddos and decided I wanted to throw a little of that goodness my own way. I went to a birthday party for a dear friend and for the celebration, we paid for a local, well-known make-up artist (see: Lindsey Regan Thorne mentioned above ;) ) to demonstrate make-up application on the birthday girl. It was AWESOME and so fun! And I ended up ordering several of the products she recommended, all of which I love. One of the brands she introduced us to is Charlotte Tilbury. And one of the Charlotte Tilbury products I love best is called: WonderGlow. It adds such a pretty glimmer to the skin, I think (and then I layer my Rodan+Fields Radiant Defense on top of that - let me know if you want to try that, too!).
Barre3. I owe much of my sanity to Barre3. Truly. It is medicine for me - a way to stay fit and active; a way to connect with others; a way to feel both lighter and stronger. I truly love it so much! I am nearing 500 classes there, and I can assure you, in no way, shape, or form am I tired of it. The strengthening and toning, the cardio, the meditation, the stretching - I love it all. AND I have a pass for a free class; so, let me know if you want in. What have you got to lose?!
Running Club. Speaking of exercise, ;) I also think running is good for the soul. Some days, even taking that first step just feels hard, as does every step that follows. Some days, it's a breeze. But ALWAYS, I feel better after I do it. And if you know me, you know that I don't listen to music when I run. I listen to audiobooks. :) So, I get to read and run at the same time, zoning out and focusing on the story playing out in my headphones. So, what do I love that I want to share with you mommas? Four things: (1) My wireless headphones. One of the best Christmas gifts I never know I needed, and now I don't know what I'd do without them (thank you, hub). (2) My waterproof armband (another great gift from my hub), that protects my phone from my nasty sweat during long or hot runs. (3) UCan. For anyone who is preparing for a half, or full, marathon, this stuff is a gamechanger. Allows for steady energy with no need to pop any of those energy gels or chocolates. (4) Running Club! For my neighborhood ladies, guess who was asked to start a running club? And guess what will be happening every Tuesday morning at 8:00 am, starting next week? Yep! Let me know if you want more info. Would love to have you join me! :)
Bobble hair thingy. We have all seen the 90s fashion trends that are making their way back into our world. And to be honest? I'm not mad at it! (Well, not most of it. Some of it needs to stay hidden in the vault. But most of it, I love!). Case in point: Raleigh LOVES wearing a scrunchie these days and you know what? I do too! A girlfriend brought this Invisibobble Sprunchie to the "Favorite Things" party, and I love it! I sleep in it (to wake up without that dreaded rubberband line), I workout in it (because it's cute and functional, win-win!), I love it!

Date nights. My hub and I had several fun date nights with friends over the summer, each at one of the many new restaurants that have popped up in our sweet town over the last few months. So, while this is a rec for the local mommas, I can highly recommend each of these fun, new local restaurants, as we enjoyed the food, service, atmosphere, and experience at every single one!: Lucky Duck, Taco Molino, Napa, Greenway Cantina, First Watch, and Spice, and Corkscrew. Seriously. We love them ALL!! Keep those restaurants coming, local peeps. If you build it, we will come!
Okay, mommas, I hope you have some fun new things to check out, just for yourselves. <3 Still on my must-try list that I want to check out soon: a silk pillowcase; a new mascara and foundation:
