These Are a Few of My Favorite Things...

Well, the holiday season is upon us! I thought it'd be fun to share a few of my favorite things, from a variety of categories, in case you are in need of Christmas ideas for you and yours. So, without further adieu, my very random list of a few of my favorite things (BTW, if you're not singing that line with all your "Sound of Music" gusto, please go back and sing a line or two to yourself before proceeding. I'll wait...............Thank you. Onward.):

Reece & Blair - Now, I may be biased since one of my awesome new girlfriends just so happens to co-own and run this incredibly beautiful and unique jewelry line. But. Y'all? I am telling you, if you are looking for amazing baubles at a beautiful price, look no further. They have a website, are available in many, many boutiques, and are constantly updating their Instagram account with drool-worthy pieces. See what I mean?! I am hoping to add a few of their pieces to my jewelry collection following my birthday and Christmas this month. :)

Land of Lakes Cinnamon Sugar Butter - Okay. I know, I know. This isn't exactly a gift idea. But. Ohmygracious. One of my girlfriends introduced me to this amazingly delicious spread and my bread and biscuits haven't been the same since! If you'll be serving rolls alongside your delicious holiday dinner, do yourself a favor and slather them with this. I promise, you'll thank me later.

Pinhole Press Memory Game - I stumbled upon this gem when reading one of my favorite blogs and ordered it immediately for my Banks for Christmas. It is a personalized take on the children's classic memory game, using your own beautiful photos for the game cards. I received it in the mail and it is just beautiful! I can't wait to play this one with my buddy over and over.

Ebates - If you online shop and aren't using ebates to do it, you are missing out on FREE MONEY. Seriously. There are absolutely no strings attached, I promise. All you do is go to the ebates webpage, click on the link for the store where you are planning to make your purchases, and you will automatically earn back a percentage of the money you spend by receiving a check from ebates quarterly. That's it! Don't believe me? I was hesitant, too. But. I gave it a try and received a check in the mail for $18 a couple months ago and am expecting an even bigger check later this month! Do yourself a favor and do all of your Cyber Monday shopping by linking through ebates. And do ME a favor and sign up through my account so I can benefit, too.

EOS chapstick - I don't know about y'all, but my lips have been SO chapped with all these crazy temperature changes. I picked up this fun chapstick when standing in the Target checkout a couple weeks ago, and I LOVE it!

"Endless Alphabet" - This may be my favorite app for kids. I had heard so many wonderful things about it from other parents; so, I finally downloaded it to our iPad and am so glad I did! It helps kids with learning ABCs, matching, identifying letter sounds, and building vocabulary. Both of my kiddos love this game, and I bet yours would, too!

Rodan + Fields - I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I am obsessed with this skincare line. Obsessed. Admittedly, it is pricey. BUT. I swear, the results are amazing. My skin has never looked so good!! I'm sure you remember the weeks and weeks of me complaining about my horrible skin in the first couple months of this pregnancy. I finally decided to start using the Unblemish regimen and I seriously saw results in 24 hours. And within a week, my skin was completely clear again, for the first time in MONTHS! I have also used the Reverse regimen (my favorite!) and the Redefine regimen and use my MACRO Exfoliator weekly. I highly recommend all of them!! Your skin will thank you!

Page 6 Boutique - If you happen to live in the Rock Hill or Fort Mill areas, you more than likely already know about this awesome little boutique. They have the CUTEST clothes, shoes, and accessories for great prices! And have no fear if you don't live in either of those areas, they also have a website with many of their items available for purchase. Actually, the blouse (time out. I feel like an old woman saying "blouse." Let's pretend I said "top" or "shirt" and move on, shall we?) and scarf I wore to the Carolina/Clemson game over the weekend was from this awesome boutique, and I loved them! I have a few other tops and necklaces from there, and I have my eye on several fun statement necklaces and fringe scarves they currently have on their shelves. Happy shopping!

Nest Furnishings - Another local shop here in the Fort Mill area that I love is called Nest Furnishings. They have BEAUTIFUL home decor items, and I worked with Francis to help with some of the recent interior decorating of our home. My favorite, favorite, favorite addition to our home so far is this chair we recently had made for our Master bedroom. If you are in the area, look them up and ask for Francis. Be sure to tell her I sent you!

Touchnote - This is very favorite new app for me! One of my girlfriends introduced me to it, and I am obsessed. Basically, you use the app to (easily! and cheaply!) create postcards using your own photo as the postcard photo. You then type your message and address it to your lucky recipient. My favorite part? The app uses your current Facebook profile photo to create a custom stamp for the postage. How cool is that?!? Both sets of grandparents have already received postcards from my little duo as well as a few other family members. I can't wait to send more out this week as a fun little way to brighten someone's day. :)

My Minnetonka 5-Fringe Boots - These boots are probably the best I have ever owned! I decided to spend a little money and invest in these boots (although they are still under $100--much less than the trendy Tory Burch and Frye boots often seen 'round these Southern parts), and I am so glad I did. Not only are they EXTREMELY comfortable (seriously, like wearing slippers!) but they go with everything! Which is probably why I wear them almost every day. And they are adorable to boot (see what I did there?). I get compliments on them every time I wear them, which, as I said, is pretty much daily. I went with the 5-fringe version, but there is also a 3-fringe version that falls lower on the calf and are also really cute. Add them to your Christmas list today!

Bloody Marys, even of the virgin variety - Hey, even if I can't enjoy alcohol these days, I can still partake in a little virgin cocktail here and there, right? And Bloody Marys are ALWAYS good, if you ask me, especially when concluding a fun morning of Black Friday shopping!

So, there you have it. I hope you are able to add some of my favorites to your own lists! Happy shopping!

  1. I have to say I think I have 2 of the cinnamon sugar butters in my fridge right this very minute!! One I thought was empty -almost- which brought on the need for the new one. YOU ARE RIGHT!! this stuff is amazing. It makes morning bagels that much better ;)

I had tons of the EOS lip balms but I think I used them so much they made my lips hurt or maybe I was allergic to something in them. They are so cute and round.

I need to do a favorite things list this year too!!
Love this and all your favorite things.
